SelectUSA, a program of the U.S. Commerce Department designed to attract and nurture foreign investment, has published has compiled and published data of critical importance to any business, foreign or domestic, with operations in the United States.

The State Business Incentives Database has information from nearly 2,000 programs from all 50 states, the District of Columbia and federal agencies, providing economic developers, business development finance professionals and economic researchers a convenient resource for searching and learning about state incentive programs.

The U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) also provides tools to support investment, including the National Excess Manufacturing Capacity Catalogue (NEXCAP), which provides detailed information about large manufacturing properties available in the United States, and the U.S. Cluster Mapping Project, which provides more than 50 million open data records on industry cluster and regional business environments in the U.S. to promote economic growth and national competitiveness.
