RACER Trust Announces 10-Year Lease Extension with Roth Global in Salina Industrial Powerpark

SALINA, NY — RACER Trust today announced that Roth Global Plastics, a leading manufacturer of blow-molded polyethylene residential septic, cistern and rainwater tanks, has signed a 10-year lease extension for space at Salina Industrial Powerpark.

The extension marks the second renewal by Roth Global, which started its original 10-year lease in 2003 and signed an extension in 2013.

Roth Global, which leases 103,200 square feet, has 22 employees in Salina and 23 at the Roth Industries manufacturing operation in Watertown, NY. The company expects to manufacture about 8,000 units at Salina in 2014, said Joseph Brown, President and CEO of Roth North America.

“We couldn’t be more pleased with our facilities, from the quality, durability and functionality of the physical plant to the transportation options to the local workforce,” Mr. Brown said. “Salina Industrial Powerpark has everything a successful, growing business like ours would need, and we look forward to a prosperous future here.”

Roth Global’s operations feature the world’s largest blow mold machine. Its 1,000-pound capacity is about four times larger than any other machine in North America, enabling Roth Global to manufacture higher-capacity tanks than its competition.

“We are pleased that Roth Global has committed to Salina Industrial Powerpark for the next 10 years, and congratulate Joe and his team for their success,” said Bruce Rasher, Redevelopment Manager of RACER Trust. “As Roth Global and other tenants have discovered, Salina Industrial Powerpark is ideally equipped and located to meet the needs of small to mid-sized manufacturers. The space can be configured to meet a wide range of needs, and we look forward to attracting additional jobs and investment to the site.”

“The Town of Salina is extremely pleased that Roth Global has decided to extend its lease at the Salina Industrial Powerpark,” Salina Supervisor Mark Nicotra said. “Roth Global has been an integral part of the community and we look forward to that continuing."
