EPLET, LLC, to Continue Service as Administrative Trustee of RACER Trust

EPLET, LLC, was appointed to a second five-year term as Administrative Trustee of RACER Trust, the entity that was established to clean up and seek redevelopment of former General Motors Corp. properties in 14 states.

“It’s a tremendous honor to be reappointed and to continue the work of the RACER team with our public- and private-sector partners as we address environmental concerns and attract buyers whose investments result in jobs, new tax base and other benefits for our host communities,” said Elliott P. Laws, managing member of EPLET, LLC. “We look forward to building on our progress in carrying out the mission of the Trust.”

To date, RACER Trust has completed more than 50 sales transactions, with cumulative planned investment of more than $1.1 billion and more than 9,000 jobs pledged over the life of projects.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Martin Glenn signed the order appointing EPLET, LLC, to a second five-year term on February 16, 2016.
