This property includes two former parking lots and vacant land totaling approximately 12.8 acres with 850 feet of frontage along Baldwin Avenue and 550 feet of frontage on West Kennett Avenue. Gas, water, sewer, and electric utilities are available nearby. The former 43.1 acre Plant 17 Fiero Assembly Plant, located across Baldwin Avenue from the former parking areas, was sold and portions of the 1.4 million square foot building demolished by the buyer.

Environmental Progress

There are no known environmental issues on the parking lot and adjacent vacant parcels on the west side of Baldwin Avenue.

Regarding the sold former Plant 17 Fiero Assembly Plant parcel, site investigations and remedial alternative evaluations are progressing as part of the RCRA Corrective Action for the adjacent Pontiac North property. Remediation is anticipated to include groundwater monitoring, and institutional controls. Work is being performed under the RCRA Corrective Action program under the oversight of EPA.
