IRG renamed the property Progress Park and has plans to divide the property, which includes a 4-million-square-foot building, among multiple tenants.

To address the presence of volatile organic compounds (or VOCs) in groundwater at the site, several cleanup activities have been performed, including a comprehensive groundwater investigation, installation of groundwater monitoring wells around the property, and installation of a groundwater pump-and-treat system. In addition, RACER conducted an air sampling program in an area southwest and east of the complex to determine if air in soils (known as soil vapor) contains VOCs. These efforts have been performed with the approval and supervision of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency. RACER has submitted to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency a Corrective Measures Proposal, recommending final clean-up activities and long-term monitoring and maintenance for the former GM complex properties. Once approved, RACER will implement any approved remedial activities.
