This 72.47-acre site is directly adjacent to two other former GM manufacturing properties owned by RACER — Lansing Plant 3 and Lansing Plant 6. The vacant property is immediately south of Interstate 69 and north of nearby Interstate 496, and is bordered by railroad tracks to the east. It zoned heavy industrial.

Environmental Progress
Historic testing found concentrations of VOCs and SVOCs above applicable regulatory guidelines. Comprehensive site investigations were completed in 2011 and 2012. VOCs, SVOCs, PCBs, and several metals have been identified at the site above applicable standards. LNAPL is also present in one area. Additional investigations are under way, and will be followed by a risk assessment, and development of appropriate remedial strategies. Deed restrictions are expected to be one component of a comprehensive remedial strategy for the site. Work is being completed under the RCRA Corrective Action program under MDEQ oversight.
