The former Allison Gas Turbine Landfill Land is a parcel of approximately 10 acres in size that encompasses a former 8-acre hazardous waste site. Closure of the site was overseen by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management pursuant to the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA).

Environmental Progress
The property has a post-closure care permit from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) pursuant to the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) that may severely limit any future use. The majority of the site is surrounded by a subsurface slurry wall that must remain and has a RCRA composite cap, including a high-density polyethylene layer that cannot be disturbed.
